The Problem
A trading business with multiple branches across Karnataka was running each location like a separate company. Inventory sat in one desktop tool, accounts in another, and payroll in spreadsheets — none of them talking to each other. Stock transferred between branches was tracked over phone calls and WhatsApp messages, and the same data was typed into two or three systems by different people.
The management team had no real-time picture of the business. Month-end consolidation took over a week of manual reconciliation, stock discrepancies between branches were discovered only during audits, and decisions about purchasing and pricing were made on numbers that were already weeks old.
